TPMS sensor photo – during checking products

In May.

During checking products, I got a photo of TPMS sensor.

As I posted previous time, most of TPMS sensors are imported. 

Hyundai is able to produce TPMS sensor themselves, but they decided to use imported one for some reason(I guess the price and selling volume)

The manufacturer of TPMS sensor who I know is Schrader.

But I noticed another manufacturer.

Part number : 52933-1J000

TPMS Valve. 

Made in France

Manufactured by Vitesco Technologies Korea.

Don’t you hear about this company?

Me – first time.

I check the surface of the item if there are some remarks.

I couldn’t find some remarks about the manufacturer.

So I googled vitesco technologies korea.

And I understood that it’s actually Continental Automotive System Korea.

I found the article that Continental change the company name.

As per Google :

I got that there are TPMS made by Continental (now Vitesco Technologies), not only Schrader.

But it’s kind a strange that this items made in France, not even Germany. Although Vitesco Technologies headquarter is in Germany.
