Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun unveiled his vision to expand the human mobility experience and realize the ultimate freedom of movement through ‘Metamobility’, a combination of robotics and metaverse.

Metamobility is a concept first proposed by Chairman Chung, and it means that smart devices such as self-driving cars are connected to the metaverse platform to expand the range of human movement into a virtual space. When fully autonomous driving is implemented, a car or urban air mobility (UAM) will be transformed into a smart device that accesses a virtual space, and users can experience various in-car experiences in a real virtual space implemented in the car. . In this process, ‘Robotics’ plays the role of a medium that connects reality and the metaverse. A user connected to the metaverse interacts with the real world through a robot.
