I have a Kia Niro plug-in hybrid. I can plug it into 110 volt electricity and it charges just fine. I live off grid and have solar panels and a battery pack which produces 110 volt electricity. But it won’t charge my car. The electrical box on the cord says fault. Can somebody please tell me what to do.

Hi, John. I have no idea about it so I sent an email to Kia company about your question. I will reply you as soon as I got the response.

    Dear John,

I got the response from Korea Kia company.

Unfortunately, their respond is not satisfactory.

They said there are only 2 options to charge the car (1. public charger / 2. mobile charger(ICCB-In Cable Control Box))

And they recommend me to call Kia service center to check it.  Is it available for you to ask to your local service center?
